IAICC AT A GLANCE
Mission Statement: “Promote and foster economic development of the United States of America, Republic of India together with the rest of the world for the benefit of all.”
The Indian American International Chamber of Commerce (IAICC) is an umbrella organization that provides a sustainable platform and leadership forum for entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and governments in the United States, and India to interact, exchange and promote economic development and improve relationship between U.S., India, and rest of the world.
Since its launch in Washington DC, in1990, IAICC has been serving Indian American owned and operated businesses. IAICC, through its chapters, affiliates and other organizations provides vital resources and support to educate, train and mentor its membership. It acts as a catalyst to establish strategic alliances between businesses in the United States, India and the rest of the world to strengthen US-India relations, business and economic engagement. The IAICC international chapter also assists state chapters through advocacy, and connects them with national and international networks.
IAICC works with entrepreneurs, professionals, businesses and governments to develop entrepreneurship and commerce through mentor - protégé programs, training, seminars and networking opportunities. Currently, there are about 600,000 Indian American Owned businesses that can benefit from these IAICC programs.

On November 25, 2018, IAICC launched its SE Regional Chapter in Atlanta, which was inaugurated by General V.K. Singh, the then Minister of State for External Affairs at the Consulate General of India, Atlanta, GA in the presence Consul General of India in Atlanta, Dr. Swati Kulkarni, President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar and other dignitaries. In January 2019, IAICC launched its Mississippi State Chapter where the State of Mississippi honored the Consul General of India in Atlanta, Dr. Swati Kulkarni, and President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar as special guests. Both Dr. Kulkarni and Mr. Kumar addressed the State Senate and met with the Lt. September 21-22, 2019, IAICC Co-hosted “Howdy Modi” Event in Houston and led a 12-member delegation. Members from national and regional chapters attended both the Indian PM and US President’s rally, and the VIP luncheon. On November 6, 2019, IAICC launched its New York Regional Chapter at the Consulate General of India in New York. Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Ajit Pai, Chief Guest at the event, inaugurated the Chapter with Minister (Commerce), Manoj Mohapatra, Indian Embassy, Deputy Consul General of India, NY, Shatrughna Sinha and President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar and others. On December 6, 2019, IAICC launched its New England States Chapter at the Northeastern University campus in Boston, Massachusetts. The then Indian Ambassador Harsh V. Shringla, and the then Consul General of India in New York, Sandeep Chakravorty, and President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar, inaugurated the event in the presence of key industry and government leaders. On December 6, 2019, IAICC supported a symposium, “Next Phase of India’s Growth and Development,” along with Boston Center of Excellence for Health and Human Development, Consulate General of India, New York, Mass India Initiatives, and Indo-US Health Initiatives. On December 10, 2019, IAICC launched its Western Regional and Northern California State Chapters in San Francisco. Lt. Governor Eleni Kounalakis was the Honored Guest and Robyn Denholm, Chairman Board of Tesla Inc., the then Consul General of India, San Francisco, Sanjay Panda, and President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar, were the Special Guests of Honor at the event, which received a tremendous support from local business and government officials. On December 20, 2019, IAICC partnered with the Consulate General of India in San Francisco and the Arizona State University (ASU) to launch its Arizona State Chapter in Phoenix. The Hon. Kate Gallego, Mayor of Phoenix, the then Consul General of India in San Francisco, Sanjay Panda , and President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar and other prominent industry and government leaders inaugurated the event. On January 9, 2020, IAICC in association with US Representative, Mr. Joe Wilson, Founding Member of the India Caucus, hosted a farewell breakfast for Ambassador Harsh V. Shringla, at Capitol Hill in Washington DC. At the farewell, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, Representatives Ted Yoho, Michael Guest, and Dr. Neal Dunn along with the then Ambassador Amit Kumar, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of India, Dr. Swati Kulkarni, Consul General of India in Atlanta, and Mr. KV Kumar, President & CEO, IAICC, congratulated Ambassador Shringla, who assumed charge as the 33rd Foreign Secretary of India on January 29 in New Delhi, India. On June 5, 2020, the IAICC Arizona State Chapter hosted its first virtual video conference with office bearers and local community leaders. President, IAICC, Arizona State Chapter, Rano Singh Sidhu, moderated the event.

On August 15, 2020, President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar took part, as the Special Guest, in the 74th Independence Day Celebrations at the Consulate General of India in Atlanta, on August 15. Congressman Joe Wilson was the Chief Guest. The celebrations were followed by a dinner hosted by the Consul General of India in Atlanta, Dr. Swati Kulkarni, at the India House.
On September 10, 2020, the Consulate General of India, Atlanta, and the IAICC, SE Atlanta Regional Chapter jointly organized a Webinar on “Doing Business with India.” Consul General of India in Atlanta, Dr. Swati Kulkarni, President & CEO, Executive Board, IAICC, KV Kumar and other business leaders spoke at the event. SE Regional Chairman, Dr. Narashimulu Neelagaru moderated the event.
V. Moving Forward:
IAICC Plans to Establish the Tri- State chapter in Washington, DC/Virginia/Maryland, Southern California, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, Carolinas, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont Chapters, and South Western and Mid-Western Regional Chapters. In addition to the existing offices in New Delhi, Bengaluru, and Kolkata, India, IAICC also plans to establish offices in Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.
IAICC Chapters and affiliate offices in Canada, Singapore, UAE, Latin America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and Australia are underway.
IAICC will host a number of virtual events and support the publication of reports by subject matter experts addressing Business, Entrepreneurship, Education, Technology, Energy, Defense, Agriculture, Medicine, Economics, Environment, Geo-Politics and related fields. IAICC is in the process of establishing federal, regional, state and local government connection portals to connect and establish one-stop-connectivity to help in obtaining contracts for our membership.
